We offer Disability Loss of License and Life Insurance to assure your family a certain level of benefits, even if you become unable to continue providing for them. Disability Loss of License has two basic formats: The Monthly Pay Loss of License program provides you with enough tax money to cover bills and keep your life together until you recover. The Lump Sum Loss of License is unique in that it provides you with one, tax-free cash payment if a disability will permanently keep you from flying. Our Disability Loss of License plans together with our Life Insurance plans help to protect pilots and their earning potential, even when disaster strikes.

Dr. Mike Berry serves as Harvey Watt’s Medical Director. A Senior HIMS Aviation Medical Examiner (AME), he has built a distinguished career in aerospace medicine, following in the footsteps of his father, the renowned Dr. Charles “Chuck” Berry. Dr. Chuck Berry was a pioneering NASA flight surgeon who played a key role in the selection and medical oversight of the original astronauts during the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs.
Working alongside his father, Dr. Mike Berry helped carry forward a legacy of excellence in aviation medicine, contributing to one of the most respected practices supporting pilots in maintaining medical certification. Dr. Berry later served as Chief of the Flight Medicine Clinic at NASA’s Johnson Space Center and went on to hold senior leadership roles within the Federal Aviation Administration, including Deputy Federal Air Surgeon, Chief of FAA Medical Specialties, and ultimately U.S. Federal Air Surgeon.
