To All Continental Airline Crewmembers,

The Retirement & Benefits Committee is pleased to offer Supplemental Loss of License Insurance to all crewmembers in good standing through Harvey Watt & Co. at very competitive rates. Harvey Watt & Co. is recognized as the industry leader in developing disability plans designed specifically for pilots.

This Supplemental Loss of License Policy is completely voluntary and would compliment the policy already available to you through Continental Airlines by providing a lump sum benefit upon disability. The participating pilot could use this amount to pay off any outstanding debts and use his benefit from the Continental plan to sustain his standard of living. We feel that the lump sum aspect of this policy could provide the Continental pilot with a comprehensive risk management plan to protect himself and his family.
